Let's dive into what God have for you this month and beyond.

Where are the Nine?

This is the question Jesus Christ ask one of the Lepers that He healed in the book of Luke 17: 11-19. There were ten lepers crying to Jesus at the point of their need. Fortunately for them, He provided a solution and they all obeyed. After being healed, nine of them could not meet up with the end result which is "Thanksgiving".

At the point of challenge(s), human beings are seen running helter-skelter looking for answers; going from mountains to valleys to ask for their desires from God. Then to His glory, He met them at the point of their need just as it was for the Lepers. They ask and it was given unto them. However, they refuse to return all glory back to Him as we have seen that it was only one of the Lepers that came back glorifying God.

Where are the Nine?

At the time of distress, some even go to the extent of making a vow unto God.  Some statement like "God if you do this for me, I will do this and that". Apparently, after God has done it, they wouldn't even remember to give thanks needless to remember and fulfill their vows. 
I urge you,if at any point of distress, you have made a vow unto God that you haven't fulfill, please, do so NOW.  Deuteronomy 23: 23 says, " But once you have voluntarily made a vow m, be careful to do as be you have said , for you have made a vow to the Lord, your God."





Giving thanks even in challenges brings victory. A good example is the fall of the wall of Jericho. The people of Israelites only need to shout in praises to God, and there was it - the fall of the wall of Jericho. My dear reader, instead of lamenting, turn it in praises unto God.

Therefore, always enter His gate with thanksgiving. Sing to Him a melodious song. Always appreciate Him for that which He had done, for what He's doing, and for what He will do. 

Are you among the Nine?
This is not your stand! 
Be among the "One" that always shout praises glorifying God.

There was an event that brought about this topic. On a sunny afternoon, I heard someone shouting in a shop. It was a voice of a woman. The shout was that of a profuse cry. Then, I listened carefully so as to be sure of what the cry was all about. She started mumbling words in-between her cry. These words were mixture of regrets and curses; "If I had known, I wouldn't have brought my phone here to charge. The person that stole my phone will never know peace..." She was raining so much curses that I can't even write here.  By this time, people had already move closer to her to ask what exactly the problem was. After listening to her story, they all started reacting either by comforting her or by raining more curses on the theif. To everyone that is diligently working either as a student, an apprentice, a teacher, civil servant, trader, entrepreneur, or be it any (legal) job or work, I salute you.
