STOP KILLING OTHERS.

Killing others bawo?

How? Why would I kill my fellow being?

I'm not even capable of violence, yet you are talking about killing.

I'm sometimes afraid of holding a blade.

I can never hurt a fly or kill a hen, yet you talk about killing a being.

What do you mean?


I know these are some of the thoughts running through your mind right now. Well, the "killing" here is not about "murder".

Then , what are you really driving at?



Do you know that you are a killer when you stand as an obstacle to people's progress?

When someone come to you that they are planning to help someone, do you give them a go-ahead or you make the person unworthy to be helped?

Do you have a nonchalant attitude to people's prosperity?

Do you lie against others to favour yourself?

Do you find various means to hinder the success of others?

Know this, anytime you oppose and stand as an hinderance to the goodness of others, then you are definitely killing them. It is not until you are armed with ammunition.


There was a story told about two painters. They were given a contract to paint a building each. The outcome of their work would determine the person that would paint the whole estate. After they finished painting, one of the painters decided to paint the work of his counterpart useless. So, he splashed paint all over the building which the other one painted. On the day the management of the Estate Company came,they checked their work out and they were satisfied with how the paint-splashed building came out. They told the painter  whose counterpart splashed paint on the building he worked on that they wanted the pattern on all the buildings of the estate and he was awarded the contract.

The moment the first painter thought about tarnishing the work of his counterpart, he had started killing him(the other one). Little did he know that if you think or know how to be an obstacle to someone's progress, then you are actually hindering your own progress. Maybe if he didn't do what he did, they could have assigned the contract to the two of them. Even if it was the other one, he could have decided to work with him as a partner. Moreover, there are better days ahead. 

The bitter truth is whenever you hinder your neighbour's blessing, you are actually placing an obstacle at your own way. 

In killing others, you are definitely killing your self.

No matter what they had done to offend you, don't be a stumbling block at the point of their success.

Now that you understand the meaning of "killing" here, WILL YOU STOP KILLING OTHERS?

CUT YOUR COAT ACCORDING TO YOUR CLOTH

There was an event that brought about this topic. On a sunny afternoon, I heard someone shouting in a shop. It was a voice of a woman. The shout was that of a profuse cry. Then, I listened carefully so as to be sure of what the cry was all about. She started mumbling words in-between her cry. These words were mixture of regrets and curses; "If I had known, I wouldn't have brought my phone here to charge. The person that stole my phone will never know peace..." She was raining so much curses that I can't even write here.  By this time, people had already move closer to her to ask what exactly the problem was. Kindly read the topic again. You've done that, right? Okay, that's good. To everyone that is diligently working either as a student, an apprentice, a teacher, civil servant, trader, entrepreneur, or be it any (legal) job or work, I salute you.
