WE NEED EACH OTHER
It's been long here!
Sorry for the late post.
Let us do it together, this year! I need your feedbacks and your thoughts.
Thanks.
"We need joy as we need air,
We need love as we need water,
We need each other as we need the earth we share - Maya Angelou
The thing we need most is each other. We all exist with different personalities, energies, capabilities and strength. We cannot do it alone.
Humans are social beings,we are not meant to be alone. We need each other for caring, sharing love, connection, learning, growing spiritually, laughter, playing, having our back, interceding รจ.t.c.
"We rise by lifting others - Robert Ingersol
We all know that no one succeeds completely on their own. You can not have all of the answers to your questions. You need consulting with people to give you better information.
When you work alone,it is often times too easy to give up when things get hard. So you have to surround yourself with others working towards similar objectives. By doing this, you will be motivated to push yourself further.
No matter who we are, how old we are, what we have or where we live,we all need each other. Nobody knows all. We all have different talents. It comes out bright when we work hand in hand.
You can do it but stop trying to do it all.
We were not designed to live life alone,if not, God would not have created an helpmeet (Eve) for Adam. Relying and helping others started from these two.
"And the Lord God said,"It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a companion who will help him." - Genesis 2:18 (NLT)
Have you ever imagined how life would be without your family, extended family, loved ones and friends?
Being around other people make us healthier. When people feel lonely, they have health challenges. Social contact help us cope with stress and make our brain work better when we are together. We learn not only by observations but by interacting with others.
Nothing can be compared to spending time with the people we love in our work place, school, church, mosque, social gatherings and every where we find ourselves.
Imagine having someone to remind you to take your medicine, eat a healthy diet, exercise, not to smoke, not to drink and so on. Healthy social relationships avoid early death. One study even suggests that a lack of social relationships has the same effects on health as smoking fifteen (15) cigarettes a day.
We should be able to interact with people freely. If we want to buy something and the seller do not relate with us very well or relate with us rudely,we all know what we would do, by deciding not buying from him/her again. Offer help and support to those who need it. You will never know when you will need help in return.
Appreciate people around you. When you are grateful, you become happier. Notice people who are around you contributing to your goodness and appreciate them.
Although, some people can drive us up the wall,we must know that people are meant to be around people even those we don't always agree with.
Use technology (especially social media) to facilitate human interactions and not replace completely physical interactions.
You can do what I can not do,
I can do what you cannot do,
Together,we can do great things. - Mother Theresa.
